    Carol Young was born in Rockford, IL. in 1939.  She has resided in Roseburg, OR. since 1974. 

She is a sculptress using several mediums.  She paints in pastels, oils, acrylics, 

porcelain mineral paints, and is an accomplished artist in portraiture, animals, landscapes, and still-life.

She is a sculpture and painting instructor and has her own studio in her home where she gives classes. 

She has been professionally involved in the arts since 1985.
